Project Description:

This project in Bangladesh is a footbridge solution for a major railroad hub to optimize the efficiency of movement within the station and enhance passenger safety.With a total span of approximately 60 meters,the bridge is a modular steel structure designed to meet the growing demand for public transportation infrastructure in Bangladesh,with the advantages of quick installation and low maintenance costs.

The main structure is made of hot-dipped galvanized steel with a weather-resistant corrosion-resistant coating,which is able to withstand the rainy,humid and high-temperature environment of Bangladesh and ensure the long-term stability of the structure.The lower part of the bridge is anchored to the concrete foundation by steel columns to enhance the overall seismic resistance and load bearing capacity.

Both sides of the bridge are equipped with spacious steps and barrier-free ramps to facilitate the passage of different groups of people.Meanwhile,the top of the bridge is equipped with a steel roof and transparent windproof panels to provide effective shading from the sun and rain,and to enhance the travelers'experience.The bridge deck is paved with non-slip steel grating to enhance safety,and equipped with LED lighting system at night to ensure the safety of night passage.

The whole project was successfully completed in just a few weeks from processing and transportation of components to on-site installation,providing a safe and efficient channel for passenger flow at the railroad station and taking a solid step towards modernizing the infrastructure of Bangladesh Railway system.
