Project Overview

This project is a large-scale steel structure warehouse built for an industrial park in the Philippines.The total building dimensions are 108m×60m with an eave height of 8m,designed to meet large-span storage and logistics distribution requirements.

During the structural design phase,calculations and optimization were carried out strictly in accordance with steel structure design specifications:

• Roof dead load:0.4 kN/㎡

• Roof live load:0.6 kN/㎡

• Wind load:2.54 kN/㎡

• Seismic intensity:Grade 8(0.4g)

• Snow load:0 kN/㎡

Considering the tropical maritime climate of the Philippines,wind load control was a key factor in the structural design.The main structural system includes:

• Main beams and columns:Q355B welded/hot-rolled H-shaped steel

• Secondary structure:Q235B steel components

• Purlin system:C/Z section steel

• High-strength bolts:Class 10.9

All welding works comply with GB 50661-2011 standards.Unspecified weld seams are designed as 6mm full fillet welds to ensure joint strength and structural safety.

The foundation adopts an enlarged footing system,with short column concrete strength grade C30,further enhancing overall stability.

For corrosion protection,the project uses Sa2.5 shot blasting treatment followed by two coats of 30μm anti-rust primer,ensuring durability in coastal and high-humidity environments.

The overall design objective was not only to meet load requirements,but also to optimize long-term operational safety and maintenance costs.
